Knitted Farmyard, 3rd update

We have made some pretty heady progress on the farmyard today.  All of the canvas is covered and Henry has made the initial layout of the bushes.  I have almost completed the farmer and two friends are making a piece each.  One will make the momma and the other a child.  Henry and I decided that I will construct the house out of that plastic canvas stuff and cover it with fabric.  I will make it hollow so that the hay bales, people, animals and misc can be stored inside.  It is going to be so cute and soooo hard to part with!

  2. Happy Birthday to you then, I can’t believe it either. I just found out that Haus of Yarn moved. Did you go with them? I am sure their new location is better if they have more room (I have only seen the web site).Your yarn project, the farmyard, looks like a cool idea. I haven’t been to textile fabrics in a long time. I think it is dangerous for me to go in there. Now that you have seen a recent (and big) photo of me, you’ll be sure to recognize me if I do happen to be in there at the same time. Until then, Carolina

Carolina, I did go with them. the store is amazing. You should come in. I will be able to recognize you next time. It was a really cute photo. I love headscarfs. They work beautifully with curly hair! Keep up the good work on the sketching. Dianne
